Against the challenging backdrop for businesses of all varieties we look back on 2022 and how as a business we have played an increasingly important role in providing solutions to help organisations navigate their way through an incredibly tough landscape.

Central to the achievements of 2022 has been the launch of our three core solution and service offerings – Trust Cloud, Trust Networks and Trust Digital – delivered by a growing team of specialists at Trust. We’re incredibly proud that across these solutions the customer satisfaction levels hit 97-100% throughout the year as we monitored/managed an impressive 17,000-plus networked devices distributed over an impressive 2,400 customer sites.

Trust Cloud represents our Hybrid Multi-Cloud solution that has been a game-changer in the UK Public Sector and is gaining traction in other sectors. We provide the system integration and managed service agility to deliver a secure, government certified and sustainable end-to-end solution that supports a cloud journey that helps our customers meet their goals around cost efficiency, digital transformation and sustainability. Its flexibility mitigates many challenges faced by Public Sector organsiations such as legacy infrastructure, data security, lack of in house skills, that simply means lifting and shifting applications from on prem to Public Cloud just isn’t always viable. Trust Cloud provides a solution to these challenges as it is a Hybrid, Multi-Cloud platform, built on Nutanix’s software hosted in Crown Hosting, a sovereign datacentre.

We’re proud that it has successfully been approved for the G-Cloud framework and we have been conscious to ensure our offering meets the criteria set out in the Government Digital Data and Technology (DDaT) playbook. The success of the Trust Cloud solution led to our commercial director Mike Dowson being invited as a special guest of Lenovo to speak at the Gartner IT Symposium in Barcelona.

He discussed the development of the solution that has involved a partnership with Crown Hosting, Nutanix and of course Lenovo. The collective power of the partnership enables us to deliver a new service for public service customers needing to migrate to the Cloud on their own terms. As in the commercial sector, public service bodies are increasingly turning to the Cloud as a means of delivering digital transformation, not only securely, but affordably and with the least impact on the environment and Trust is pleased to help them on their journeys.

Such arrangements with partners are integral to the power of each of Trust’s solutions. The Trust Networks product is built around the powerful Cisco capability, which has helped Trust achieve its position as a leader in the provision of managed network solutions. The partnership was strengthened by Trust achieving Premier Provider status with Cisco during 2022 that was added to its existing Premier Partner Integrator status.

These attributes have helped Trust agree new partnerships during the past 12 months with Alert Logic, to support our security offering, and with E-On Control Solutions, delivering turnkey network infrastructure solutions to support their clients running its Building Management Systems.

The third core offering launched this year was Trust Digital, which again involved us partnering with best in class specialists – Samsung and Ergonomic Solutions. This grouping now provides a Managed Digital Signage Solution for retail environments. Such has been its early success that we were shortlisted with our partner Samsung for ‘Retail Project of the Year’ at the AV Awards for the innovative delivery of the Managed Digital Signage at Aldi’s cutting-edge Shop and Go store in London’s Greenwich area.

With our partners we held an event at the Samsung KX store in central London to explore the current and next generation in Digital Signage Solutions – encompassing the trends, the technology, and the challenges for businesses as they seek to make informed strategic decisions that will shape their customer experience and engagement in the future. Confidence in the Trust Digital solution saw us take our first solely hosted stand at the Retail Technology Show, deliver a Keynote speech at Retail Tomorrow, and showcase the solution at ISE 2022 with Ergonomic Solutions. Trust is also proud to have sponsored the Retail Insider Digital Retail Innovation Report for 2022 which featured the Aldi Digital Signage Solution.

Against this backdrop of frenetic activity during the year we have maintained our focus on delivering the best service for our customers, which was borne out in the results of our customer survey. They revealed that 100% of respondents felt they had a reliable contact at Trust and comments included: ‘The network solution provided by yourselves is reliable and we require very little contact because of that.’ and ‘Trust continues to be a valued partner, delivering reliable and professional services.’

We are very proud to receive such feedback not only from our customers but also from those individuals that we support in apprenticeship programmes and supported-work experience. These have included: ‘I’ve had a great time learning from you all and appreciate that you allowed me the opportunity to come in and shadow everyone for the past few months. Thank you all so much for everything.’

We have also played its part in the community through its continued support of charities like Destiny Medical Centre who we have supported on their journey by donating networking equipment to aid the digitisation of the Centre. The money this has helped them save has been redirected to furnishing and fitting out the entire medical centre. Every room now has data cabling creating an integrated digital clinic that is more effective and efficient.

As 2022 comes to an end we are excited for 2023 and very much look forward to making further progress helping both our customers, our team and the wider community.
